Edward Neblett Named National Recipient of Connect CRE’s Next Generation Award

Talented asset manager joins elite CRE group on heels of successful acquisitions in Tampa, Minneapolis

Bridge Investment Group LLC’s (Bridge) subsidiary Bridge Office Strategy (Bridge Office) announced today that Director Edward Neblett has been named a recipient of Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards in the U.S.-National category. Neblett and a handful of other rising stars in the commercial real estate industry were selected from more than 500 nominees.

Connect CRE is a daily news source covering commercial real estate transactions and trends in 12 sectors and 10 markets across the country, including national and global stories.

“I am honored and grateful to receive this recognition from Connect CRE,” said Neblett, who joined Bridge in January 2020. “Being surrounded and mentored by such a talented group of real estate professionals that I get to work with on a daily basis has facilitated my growth here, and I’m grateful for their help in receiving this award. Our team will continue to serve as a leader in office investments, and I look forward to writing the next chapter of my career at Bridge.”

Neblett’s drive and ability to forge relationships were key factors in his promotion to Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management in January 2023. He currently oversees 1 North Dale Mabry (253,922 SF) in Tampa, in addition to Excelsior Crossings (508,590 SF), West End Office Park (593,793 SF) and 10 West End (353,039 SF) in Minneapolis. Neblett played an integral role in three of these acquisitions, as well as the selection of leasing partners for each respective building.

In November 2022, he initiated and championed the off-market acquisition of 10 West End in Minneapolis by successfully leveraging key relationships he sourced and cultivated. The acquisition was one of the largest office trades in Minneapolis and on the national scale seen late last year and reflects Neblett’s reputation as a talented closer despite recent economic headwinds. In his time at Bridge, he has registered an acquisition volume of $257 million, with total leasing activity eclipsing 281,000 SF across all properties.

“Edward’s track record speaks for itself, and he is certainly a worthy recipient for this year’s Next Generation Award,” said Jeff Shaw, Senior Managing Director at Bridge Investment Group. “In the pool of asset management talent, it’s not often you find someone with equally impressive analytical and creative skills. Edward’s engagement, market awareness and industry perspective at a management level has been invaluable to the needs of our tenants and our team.”

Neblett was also selected for NAIOP Future Leaders in 2022 as one of the top 12 up-and-comers in Metro Atlanta’s commercial real estate scene. Earlier this year, he was selected as one of the four-person peer group to return to NAIOP in a leadership capacity, demonstrating his exceptional growth and influence among industry peers.

Prior to joining Bridge, Neblett worked at Blanchard Real Estate as a senior associate. He graduated from the University of Georgia, where he attended the Terry College of Business and received a bachelor’s degree in finance.
